Two blocks East from the corner of Cty Rd CC. Google maps may point you to the offices at St. Francis Solanus Parish & School.
St. Ignatius Church, presently, was built in 1934 in New Post. This Parish dates back to 1884 when St. Anthony Church was established to serve the Anishinaabe People in Post. This new and present-day location for the church was chosen a couple of miles from the present-day Church Island, where St. Anthony Church had stood before the flooding of about 20,000 acres, now known as the Chippewa Flowage.
The beautiful and small church provides an intimate experience of worship open to all.
