The Parish (Pastoral) Council is an elected and appointed body of parishioners who are advisors to the Priest. There are eight elected members of the Parish Council and two ex officio members. Members of the Parish Council are to act as liaisons between the parishioners and the council by carrying their concerns to attention of the council as well as the Pastor for discussion, study, advisement, and action. Meetings are held on the third Thursday each month, with time off during the summer. Parishioners are welcome to attend any of these meetings. If anyone wishes to present an idea or concern for discussion they need to contact a council member so they can be added to the agenda prior to the monthly meeting. The Finance Council has the duties of preparing the parish budget and financial planning. All members are appointed by the Pastor, selected from parishioners with a background in finance and/or accounting.
