We wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving. There will be NO Mass on Thursday, November 25, Thanksgiving Day, and Friday, November 26. The church and offices will be closed starting at noon on Wednesday, and all-day Thursday & Friday.
A warm and blessed welcome to our newest member—Brooklyn Olivia, daughter of David and Jennifer McClain, who was baptized on November 13. Congratulations to the parents and families who shared this blessed event with us.
Our good friends, Virginia Gawlik, passed away on October 20, Joan Ronca passed away on November 4, and Carol LaBarre passed away on November 8. Please keep them and their families in your prayers. Eternal rest grant unto them O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon them; may their souls and the souls of the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace. Amen
Why do less than 30% of Catholics believe in the Real Presence? It seems like many have forgotten that Jesus gave his flesh for the life of the world. The Eucharist has transformed Fr. Mike’s life and he wants to tell you all about it. We encourage you always to work into your daily schedule some quiet time with our Lord and this Advent we challenge you to carve out more time in preparation for His arrival. The Little Books, which will be here next week, is a great devotional to help you explore the depths of Scripture and deepen your relationship with Christ. Another resource, which no doubt will be great for the whole family, is Chris Stefanik’s 4-part video series called “as we forgive those....”. Go to www.reallifecatholic.com to signup and receive the videos in your email inbox weekly.
The Giving Tree will be up in the entrance of the Church the weekend of Nov 26-27. The Church is open from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday through Friday and for weekend Masses, so please stop in and pick up an ornament. Return your gift unwrapped, with the ornament, by Dec 10. Thank you for helping those in need.
