"National Vocation Awareness Week will be celebrated in our country November 7-13, 2021. Please ask Our Lord for more dedicated, holy priests, deacons, and consecrated men and women. May they be inspired by Jesus Christ, supported by our faith community, and respond generously to God's gift of vocation."
The Red Cross collected 80 pints of blood here at St. Joseph last Thursday and Friday. Every pint of blood can save up to 3 lives, so with your 80 pints we can help up to 240 patients in need! That’s wonderful! Thank you so much for hosting the blood drive, we truly appreciate your partnership in our lifesaving mission.
St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, Eagle River, WI. Vicki Thorn uses scientific studies to show how men and women are inherently different, yet are built to complement each other. She explains the biochemistry of sex, the problems of the sexual revolution and the fascinating science of attraction. She uses biological data to show that the Church’s teaching on sexual morality is not outdated and has significant benefits for the physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing of men and women today. Great for teens and adults alike! See the bulletin board for more information.
