General Dispensation from the Sunday Obligation to Attend Mass Due to the increase in COVID-19 cases throughout our Diocese, Bishop James Powers has granted “the Catholic faithful throughout the Diocese of Superior a general dispensation from the obligation to attend Sunday Mass. This dispensation will remain in force until further notice.” Please be aware that Bishop Powers is NOT issuing a closure of public Masses on Sundays and weekdays. The Church will be closed and there will be no weekday Mass this Thursday, 11/26 and Friday, 11/27. Our normal schedule resumes on Saturday, 11/28 with the Sacrament of Reconciliation from 3-3:45pm and Mass at 4pm.
The Feast of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary is Tuesday, Dec 8th. This is a Holy Day of Obligation and Mass times are 9am at St. Ann and 12 noon and 5:30pm at St. Joseph. Prepare by praying the Novena for 9 days prior, Nov 29 to Dec 7. The prayer is available in Church and on our website. The Giving Tree is up in the entrance of the Church. The Church is open from 8am to 4pm Mon-Fri and for weekend Masses so please stop in and pickup an ornament. Please return your gift unwrapped by December 13th. We will also need wrapping paper, large gifts bags and large (coat sized) boxes. Thank you for helping those in need!

Mark your calendar, Recycle Christmas is 2 weeks away on Saturday, Nov 21 from 9am to 1pm in the Church Hall. Donations may be dropped off from Sunday, Nov 15 through Tuesday, Nov 17. We have several youth planning to attend the upcoming Discipleship Retreat next weekend. The theme this year is “Jesus, I trust in you”. Please pray this retreat helps all attendees grow in their faith and strengthen their willingness to grow as disciples of Jesus.
