Our Lady of Guadalupe Celebration–Dec 12
Our Lady of Guadalupe is the Patroness of the Americas, Unborn children and the New Evangelization. Her feast day is an important holiday in Mexico and commemorates the appearance of the Blessed Virgin Mary to the Mexican peasant St. Juan Diego in 1531. We will be incorporating some of the traditions that are celebrated in Mexico in the evening Mass (4pm) including placing flowers around her image. Please join in this tradition by bringing a flower; one or more per person would be great. Father will also bless religious articles at the end of Mass so bring any that you would like to include. For anyone who would like to join, we will also pray a special Rosary starting at 3:30 pm (before Mass). Check out the table in the Church Hall for more information about Our Lady of Guadalupe.
