For information about upcoming or recent funerals, please see the Recent Sacraments & Funerals page.
Although not a Sacrament, as Sacraments are for the living, a funeral is a beautiful expression of our faith in Jesus Christ and all that he promised us about the afterlife. Funerals are an important moment in proper grieving and an opportunity for your parish family to surround you and your loved ones with prayers and genuine Christian hope.
When a loved one dies, we ask that you connect with a funeral home and funeral director who will coordinate with your parish for the scheduling of all funeral events (visitation, Mass or liturgy, luncheon, burial or inurnment).
Our parishes most frequently work with Bratley-Nelson Funeral Homes & Crematory or Pineview Funeral Service but you are welcome to coordinate with whatever funeral home you find. Occasionally, we are able to assist with some arrangements outside of you working with a funeral home. Please connect with the central office at 715-634-2867 to see if that may work.
