We are an international organization of Catholics involved in our parishes and communities. OFS members are dedicated to sharing God’s love, mercy, caring for our environment, seeking justice, and supporting each other as St. Francis of Assisi and St Clare have exemplified for us. If you are interested in deepening your relationship with our Lord while embracing the Beatitudes, poverty, chastity, and obedience, please join us for a meeting. We gather monthly on the third Sunday for a lunch at noon and meet from 1:30 in the Parish Center for business and formation. Both men and women, at least 21 years of age are invited.

The Seven Sisters is a prayer oriented apostolate consisting of seven women who commit to offering a Holy Hour once a week solely for the needs and holiness of the pastor (or a bishop, retired priest, etc.), thus ensuring that a Holy Hour of prayer before the Blessed Sacrament is offered each day of the year for that priest. The commitment is for one year (June to June). Substitutes are involved in this program should one of the “sisters” be unable to fulfill her weekly Holy Hour.
Every Friday at 11 AM in St. Joseph’s Divine Mercy Adoration Chapel, a Holy Hour of prayer is offered including Eucharistic Adoration, traditional Marian prayers, prayers of intercession, a reading from the messages of Medjugorje and other devotional prayers. Everyone is welcome. Contact Mary Jane at [email protected] if you have any questions.
The rosary is prayed before the St. Joseph 5:15 pm Mass every Tuesday starting at 4:45. Everyone is welcome to join in prayer for The Holy Church and any private intentions.
At St. Joseph, the rosary is prayed before the weekend Masses (4 pm & 10:15 am) during the months of May and October.
At St. Ann, the rosary is prayed before every Sunday Mass (begins at 8 am before the 8:30 Mass) throughout the year.Rosalie Bender, 715-634-4331 or [email protected]
Eucharistic Adoration is a special quiet time of prayer and reflection; a time to get away from the bustling activities of the day and spend some silent time with our Savior. The Adoration Committee oversees all the aspects of the Divine Mercy Chapel. They are responsible for the recruitment and orientation of adorers who are new to the Adoration program. They help to arrange the scheduling of adorers and assist with any special activities that take place in the Chapel. The committee meets 4 times a year, or as often as activities and planning are needed. If interested in serving in this capacity please contact a committee member. See the Chapel page for more information.
In Devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, St. Francis Solanus parish recommitted to the First Friday Devotion as of Summer 2024. Mass is at 8 am with devotional prayers to follow.
At St. Joseph, every Friday Noon Mass (unless it is a funeral liturgy) begins with the Angelus instead of an entrance hymn. On First Fridays, we have a shortened homily and pray the litany to the Sacred Heart. At St. Francis Solonus, the First Saturday Devotion schedule is:
8:30 am ConfessionsAs Catholics, we believe that Jesus is truly present in the Eucharist -- body, blood, soul, and divinity. Just as Jesus became man so that He could be close to us (humanity) personally, He is still close to us in the Eucharist today! Outside of the Mass, Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament is a surefire way to grow in holiness. At St. Joseph, we have the Divine Mercy Chapel available to us daily (connect with the office for after-hours instructions to access the chapel). We also are committing to hosting several parish-wide Adoration offerings each year. If you are brand new to Adoration and interested in learning, either ask a friend who has a Holy Hour or call Rosalie (contact info above in the chapel section) and she would be happy to share her expereince with you. There is no "wrong way" to adore, as long as you are striving to grow closer to the heart of Jesus through what you are doing. You can do spiritual reading, talk to Jesus, listen in silence, pray the rosary or the Divine Mercy Chaplet, read the Gospel of the day or other scripture, journal, or simply let Jesus gaze lovingly at you!
