Theology of the Body Retreat Day:Feb 25, 2025

This year's focus will be connecting Theology of the Body and the Eucharist. Cost is $50 pp. Begins at 9am & wrapping up by 5:00pm.  Retreat day will include:  Two keynote presentations, A holy hour with confessions available, Lunch, Books on Theology of the Body for purchase.  Who is invited?  Parish Catechetical Leaders, Catechists, Clergy, Parents, Any interested adult.

Learn about Seminary:  The vocations team of the Diocese of Superior invite any young men (in college/juniors/seniors in high school) to join the Vocation Information on February 22-24, 2025 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Seminary in Winona, MN. Hang out with college seminarians, catch a glimpse of seminary life, attend Sunday Mass, and visit classes! For more info or to sign-up, contact Fr. You’re invited to a Magic Show by one of our very own Knights of Columbus, Al Stawicki, a member of St. Ann’s Parish.  Al is a passionate educator who is retired from Milwaukee Public Schools.  He continues to give back and is involved in education locally. He was  once featured in Life Magazine in October of 1990 to where he said uses “magic to be a better teacher.”  While he will likely not be squeezing lycopodium powder into a Bunsen burner flame (like in his Life Magazine article).... he will definitely put on a good show!  Come see Al and watch for other future Magic Shows he puts on!

BRUNCH! The Parish Life Organization will sponsor their winter 
Pot-Luck Brunch On Sunday, February 2, immediately after Mass, in the church hall. There is a sign-up sheet at the church entry for you to indicate your interest in attending, ability to bring a dish and also availability to help with clean-up. We look forward to seeing you there as we gather to enjoy good food and fellowship!

Spiritual Adoption Week 34:  Here we go again! Another case of the hiccups!... I have been practicing my breathing here in the womb and sometimes that causes me to have the hiccups! They sure do feel strange! Meanwhile, the fuzz on my head that will become my hair is growing rapidly and I get excited to hear my mother’s voice as she sings to me. Those will probably be the same songs that I will hear as she sings me to sleep. My birth-day is almost here! Please pray for me.
We commit to pray a short daily prayer to save babies for protection against abortion and for Jesus, Mary, & Joseph to wrap their loving arms around the parents and unborn baby!
